The State of the World: A Conversation with Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein and Professor Jack Snyder

The Gert Rosenthal Lecture series, sponsored by Columbia University’s Department of Political Science, presents an annual lecture focused on international diplomacy and economic development in honor of Gert Rosenthal, former Ambassador of Guatemala to the United Nations, Minister of Foreign Relations of Guatemala, and Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean. Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein’s presentation takes the form of a conversation with Jack L. Snyder, Robert and Renée Belfer Professor of International Relations in the Department of Political Science and the Saltzman Institute of War and Peace Studies.
