Trouble in Paradise: French Polynesia (Tahiti, Bora Bora and the land of Gaugin)

Please join the SIPA Human Rights and Humanitarian Policy Concentration as well as the Institute for the Study of Human Rights in welcoming Oscar Temaru to Columbia University.

Former President Oscar Temaru of French Polynesia, a leader in its independence movement, will discuss several topics including uuclear testing, cancer, decolonization, the movement for independence, and more. Temaru will be joined by Moetai Brotherson, Richard Tuheiava, and Valentina Cross, Representatives in Assembly of French Polynesia.
