China's Human Rights Record

Thursday, March 3, 2022 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

The Institute for the Study of Human Rights is hosting a new event: China's Human Rights Record: What Can We Do and What Should We Do? This conversation will be led by Jack Snyder, Robert and Renée Belfer Professor of International Relations, and Andrew Nathan, Class of 1919 Professor of Political Science. The two will discuss what Americans and other foreign citizens can do about human rights violations that are occurring in China, and whether these are things that non-Chinese citizens should do. What are our moral obligations, and what actions might be effective in influencing the human rights situation in China?

The event will be held on Thursday, March 3 from 12:00 - 1:00pm at the International Affairs Building, room 918.
