Human Rights and Yoga

This two-hour workshop uses yoga philosophy and mindfulness practices to support health and wellness, team-building, and leadership development.

Join us as we unwind together, getting to know ourselves and each other better in a shared, supportive space.

We explore the importance of self-care as an essential foundation for being able to serve others.

This event is free and no prior yoga experience is necessary. Wear comfortable clothing. Mats will be provided.

The workshop is led by New York based yoga instructor Janine White.

Janine uses the tools of yoga and mindfulness to support life skills and leadership development among diverse groups of youth and social justice advocates.

Janine also has a masters degree in international affairs and human rights.
