2010 Advocate Bakary Tandia (right), a co-founder of The Abolition Institute, and his colleagues led a high-profile US delegation on a fact-finding mission to Mauritania from October 29 to November 7, 2023. During the visit they met with human rights leaders and heard stories from victims.
