The Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University is looking for qualified human rights instructors to teach the following courses during the 2020-2021 academic year, with the possibility of continued teaching in subsequent semesters.

DISABILITY AND RIGHTS - 4000-level - Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 (new course)

CLIMATE CHANGE AND HUMAN RIGHTS - 4000-level - Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 (new course)

These new seminar courses would be offered at the 4000-level for advanced undergraduate and graduate students. Enrollment priority will be given to students in one of ISHR’s human rights degree programs, but will also be open to students from other departments and schools if space is available.

Applicants should send the following, as a single document, with the subject heading “Disability and Rights Course” or “Climate Change and Human Rights” to humanrightsed@columbia.edu. Applications received by January 15th will be given priority.
