Social Entrepreneurs at Work

Join us for a conversation with Marijana Savić and Mary Akrami, alumni from the Human Rights Advocates Program with the Institute for the Study of Human Rights at Columbia University. Maijana is founder and director of the Serbian NGO Atina and social enterprise Bagel Bajgl Shop, where she helps women trafficking survivors learn job skills and find employment. Mary is the director of the Afghan Women Network and helps empower women in the Afghan society. Marijana and Mary will discuss their work in Serbia and Afghanistan and the impact of their social enterprises.
