2010 Advocate Gisèle Ngungua Sangua has been named the Provincial Minister of Gender, Women and Children of Haut-Katanga in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She is the founder of Action Large des Femmes Avocates, which provides legal assistance to women in prison and victims of violence. She also worked with the Court of Appeals in Lubumbashi and the International Criminal Court.
