Abstract

The article examines the concept of political memory in relation to gender, violence, and terrorism. Also discussed are such topics as the composition of the feminist countermemory framework, the application of such framework in terrorist activities in Spain and femicide in Juarez, Mexico, as well as the two types of gender and memory, namely, the gendered memory in war, terrorism and political conflict, and the gendered memory related to gender violence.
