Abstract

The article discusses the study of memory and examines the formation of an interdisciplinary field of memory studies. According to the article, scholars in the fields of the natural and social sciences, the humanities, and the arts all seek to study understand memory. Details are provided about the study of collective memory and about the relationship between the fields of psychology and social science. The challenges associated with the establishment of an interdisciplinary field of memory studies are also explored.
