The Elevate Prize Foundation, in partnership with MIT Solve, announced that 1996 HRAP Advocate Twesigye Jackson Kaguri, Nyaka Founder and CEO, has been selected among 23 finalists for the Elevate Prize. This prize honors the very best innovators and change makers from around the world. The Elevate Prize judging panel will select and announce winners this fall.
Jackson said: "Thank you Elevate Prize Foundation team! I am honored to be selected as one of the finalists on behalf of Nyaka. This prize would allow us to extend our work with grandmothers and students in rural Uganda, bringing increased technology, education and employment opportunities, while supporting communities through the impact of COVID-19."
