In February, 1993 Advocate Luis Felipe Polo of Peru was awarded an Honorary Doctorate during the "Sixth World Summit on Educational Globalization and Transdisciplinarity 2024," hosted by the International Federation of FINTES Specialists in Mexico City. He was recognized for his significant contributions and efforts towards advancing global education. Presenting the conference titled "Social Commitment in Universities," Luis Felipe Polo proposed a strategy for universities to play a more prominent role, actively influencing public policies and fostering a new era of humanity. He emphasized leveraging technology responsibly within a framework of transversal education grounded in the fundamental principles of human rights.
