Conflict Resolution in Nagorno-Karabakh

David L. Phillips, Director of the Program on Peace-building and Rights at Columbia University's Institute for the Study of Human Rights, visited Beirut on May 9-12th. He was invited by the Armenian community of Lebanon.

 

Phillips gave a pubic address Beyond Conflict Management: Towards Comprehensive Peace in Nagorno-Karabakh.

 

Phillips also participated in panels on the Armenian Genocide and Turkish-Armenian relations:

Phillips met Prime Minister Tammam Salam and other Lebanese officials. He wrote about Lebanon's Political crisis in The Huffington Post.
