Introducing the 2018 Human Rights Advocates!

Wednesday, August 29, 2018

The Institute for the Study of Human Rights is pleased to welcome the nine participants in the 2018 Human Rights Advocates Program (HRAP) to Columbia University.

HRAP’s comprehensive program of advocacy, networking, skills-building, mentoring, and academic coursework provides participants with a semester-long opportunity to hone practical skills, develop a deeper understanding of human rights, and foster mutually beneficial relationships with organizations and individuals in their respective fields.

The 2018 cohort is HRAP’s 30th class. Since 1989, more than 320 advocates from 90 countries have attended the program.
