ISHR is happy to release the 2020-21 HRAP report. Congratulations to the advocates who completed the program which was held online over two semesters. Many thanks to all who contributed to the program.

In mid-May 2021, Conservation International, Liberia, led by Country Director Peter G. Mulbah (right), handed over computers and other key office items to the Ministry of Agriculture. Peter attended the 2008 Human Rights Advocates Program at ISHR.

AHDA alumna Raba Gjoshi writes an op-ed for Prishtina Insight entitled "Victims of the Kosovo War Should be at the Heart of the Dialogue". The article explores the international community previous missteps in facilitating Kosovo-Serbia dialogues, offering suggestions on a viable path forward.

AHDA fellow Banu Pekol (2020-2021) interviewed with the Columbia University Libraries Global Studies Blog

The blog article is entitled "Documentation on Architectural Preservation and Documentation, Human Rights, Memory and Trauma". Banu discusses her area of focus, which in her own words, consists of studying and surveying historical architectural heritage sites in Turkey, focusing on sites that belonged to difficult pasts and that don’t necessarily fit neatly within a reductive or glorifying national historical narrative."
