2022-23 Advocate Antonia Moreira of Ateliê TRANSmoras is featured in OutRight International's campaign on legal gender recognition. Antonia shares her experience with changing her name legally in 2021 with the help of an NGO in Brazil. "Having access to my documents with my name and gender I identify myself with is a point of mental health, of having confidence that I am entitled to use a public bathroom, that I am entitled to access a public gathering, a college entrance exam, and that my dead name will not be divulged publicly" said Antonia.
