Last week, the European Observatory on Memories (EUROM) launched a new research for the implementation of the Spanish case of reparation and memorialization, based on a project within the African American Redress Network by the Institute for the Study of Human Rights of Columbia University and the Thurgood Marshall Civil Rights Center of the Howard University. The project aims to identify processes of historical injustice in reparation and memorialization and adds trans-Atlantic dimension to the research initiated with AHDA alumni.
