Focuses on issues related to the sociology of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Initiatives undertaken by the government to address the problems that victims of social and political violence face in the aftermath of tragic events; Contentions regarding pretensions that major mental illnesses are the main contributors to the many cases of victimization that end up diagnosed as PTSD; Challenges faced by mental health professionals on the diagnosis and care for these PTSD victims.
