| Abstract | The article discusses collective memory and transcultural remembrance. It discusses the topic of memory study and defines the term transcultural remembrance. It also focuses on memory as practice, answering the question on the separation of individual memory, socio-cultural frameworks and collective representations. Furthermore, the nature of the relationship between history and memory is also discussed.
