Outposts: Fort Laramie, Indigenous Identity & the Crossroads of History

Professor Hale will present research on Fort Laramie from a new chapter in her forthcoming book. Through examining the ways in which Native people navigated daily life at and beyond sites like Laramie, Hale provides a snapshot of how multiracial experiences and identity were negotiated in the 1860s.
