2016 Advocate Jeffrey Wambaya of ISHTAR MSM in Kenya presented two papers with senior staff from SAGE—Advocacy and Services for LGBT at the International Federation on Ageing 15th Global Conference, which was held in Canada in November. The papers were Advances and Challenges in Ageing Specific to LGBT People and Religious and Cultural Norms in Ageing. Jeffrey said the following about his participation in the conference: “All of this is because of links that HRAP made for me with SAGE when I was in NYC.”
