The Program on Peace-building and Human Rights launched its Sri Lanka Policy Forum with Nisha Desai Biswal, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, on June 13th.
The Sri Lanka Policy Forum is a joint project with the
Association of War Affected Women in Sri Lanka. The Forum will consider reconciliation opportunities and foster partnerships between NGOs and donor countries.
Joining the Assistant Secretary on the panel were David L. Phillips, the director of the Program on Peace-building and Human Rights, and
Visaka Dharmadasa, founder and chair of the Association of War Affected Women.
