1990 Advocate Felipe Michelini of Uruguay (left) was in Washington, D.C., this month in his capacity as a member of the
Trust Fund for Victims. While in the Working Session of the Commission for Political and Legal Affairs of the Council of the Organization of American States,
he met with Organization of American States (OAS) Secretary General Luis Almagro (right).
Elected as a board member of the Trust Fund for Victims for 2015 to 2018, Felipe will serve alongside four others from across the world. The Trust Fund for Victims is a semi-autonomous entity of the International Criminal Court that encourages restorative justice through the provision of assistance to victims of crimes that fall within the Court's jurisdiction.
