This is a remote volunteer opportunity.
The mission of the International Indigenous Women Forum (FIMI) is to bring together Indigenous Women across the world to promote at all levels the recognition and realization of their individual and collective rights and well-being.
Volunteer Responsibilities
The student volunteer will work in close cooperation with Margarita Antonio - FIMI's Ayni Fund Coordinator on the following tasks:

Systematization of reports on Indigenous Women's projects over specific thematics

Accompany reflection exercises on national socioeconomic and political contexts of selected countries.

Support the technical team in the review of reports sent by the organizations.

Support in the identification of training needs based on the reports submitted.
Requirements:
- Spanish - English, Social Studies with interest in Latin America and the Caribbean or other regions in the global South.
Please note: FIMI works globally. They have priorities for the LAC region, but if Spanish speakers are not available they can also provide support for Africa, Asia, and the Pacific.

Please indicate the organization(s) that you are interested in working with, the relevance of this work to your studies and how your qualifications relate to each opportunity you are applying for. If you apply for more than one opportunity, please indicate in your cover letter your first and second choices. Applications will then be sent to the hosting organizations, which will request interviews with those students who they feel are the right match. The organizations will make the final decisions which will be announced by the end of May.
