Abstract

The article focuses on role of historians on the transition of knowledge. It mentions that the historiography of historians relies on the legend, the memory of the people and the ideas on the past existing in the consciousness of the people. It cites that historians deal with historical concepts from documents and texts and the process of transmitting them. It notes that it is impossible to know human existence in the past without the transfer of knowledge, techniques and skills and that historians are not concerned with the deduction of the present from the past nor revive the people in the past, instead, they just deal with what happened in the past.
