| Abstract | The article discusses what is referred to the viral-based behavioral technique used to analyze the social memory of mice, referencing an article in the issue co-authored by scientist T. Okuyama. An overview the role that the brain's ventral hippocampus plays in storing social memory, including in regard to the connectivity between the hippocampus and the nucleus accumbens, is provided.
