Please note that these are part-time, adjunct appointments, with the possibility of continued teaching in subsequent semesters.

Phi Beta Kappa Inductees
Alisha Arshad, Columbia College
On April 25, eight graduate and undergraduate human rights students gathered on Zoom to participate in ISHR's annual Human Rights Thesis Competition. During the event, students took hundreds of hours of thesis research in the human rights discipline and transformed it into 5-minute presentations. The faculty judges were Joseph Slaughter, Mila Rosenthal, and Glenn Mitoma.

On Tuesday, April 23rd, ISHR’s Executive Director, Professor Joseph Slaughter, was interviewed by Democracy Now!. “We have extremely robust rules for the protection of speech and protest on campus; we have an extremely robust system for protecting due process rights for students when they have violated or are accused of having violated those protections.
