The Indigenous Peoples Rights Program of ISHR is proud to support the World Indigenous Peoples Decade of Water Summit. Within the framework of the Decade annual meetings are held to gather support and raise awareness. In April 2018, we hosted Mni Ki Wakan at Columbia for a preparatory meeting. The 2019 Indigenous Water Summit will take place in He Sapa/Black Hills, South Dakota, from 13-15 August 2019. For information about the Decade see the website of Mni Ki Wakan.
