2020-21 Advocate Itoro Douglas Ekanem of Nigeria has been elected Chair of The PACT, an international coalition of 128 youth-led and youth-serving organizations and networks working “to advance  sexual and reproductive health and rights and reach the end AIDS by 2030.” The PACT pursues “youth-led advocacy and accountability at all levels, fighting for SRHR for all young people.”

Alliance for Historical Dialogue and Accountability alumna Dilpreet Bhullar (2020-2021) recently published a book review on 'Cups of Nun Chai' by Alana Hunt. The book features centers on conversations about Kashmir. Bhullar writes of the book: 

The book holds promise for a discerning mind keen to walk through the kaleidoscopic history of Kashmir, beyond the banal lens of divisive policies on the two-nation theory promoted by the (post)colonial history.

Who’s to blame for events in Afghanistan? Partisan finger-pointing is inevitable, but not constructive. President Ashraf Ghani is ultimately responsible for the debacle, which was brought on by massive corruption that undermined the Afghan state and security services.  

While Ghani is primarily responsible, the US is not exempt.
