This year marks the 7th class of Alliance for Historical Dialogue and Accountability (AHDA) Fellowship.

Each year, AHDA brings fellows focused on historical dialogue to Columbia University to provide them with the opportunity to hone practical skills in fundraising, advocacy and leadership, develop a deeper understanding of and engagement with the past, and to foster mutually beneficial relationships with their peers and with international and non-profit organizations based in New York and Washington, D.C.

The Institute for the Study of Human Rights is pleased to welcome the nine participants in the 2018 Human Rights Advocates Program (HRAP) to Columbia University.

HRAP’s comprehensive program of advocacy, networking, skills-building, mentoring, and academic coursework provides participants with a semester-long opportunity to hone practical skills, develop a deeper understanding of human rights, and foster mutually beneficial relationships with organizations and individuals in their respective fields.
